Controls Engineer

Locations: Dallas, TX and Ohio

Job Description:
Responsible for driving the development, installation, and commissioning of plant controls and automation systems. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to design and implement state-of-the-art control solutions that enhance efficiency and reliability in the manufacturing processes.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in controls and automation engineering within relevant industries.
  • Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC programming and advanced HMI development, preferably with Wonderware.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with process control panel design and specification.
  • Familiarity with high sanitary standards in food and beverage industries, including CIP cleaning and sterilization.
  • Preferred experience with Wonderware MES, .NET programming, SQL databases, and Ethernet/IP communication.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite.

Employment Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, but will consider experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, installation, and commissioning of plant controls and automation systems.
  • Provide ongoing support for controls and automation systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and specify plant control system architecture, setting high standards for efficiency and reliability.
  • Work with third-party controls engineering partners to achieve project goals effectively.
